Regional Managers- Industry knowledge: minimum 10 years hand-on industry experience.
- May require a deep-knowledge about one sector of the industry to be used across other Regions as needed.
- Regional experience: minimum 5 years in-Region experience
- Proven/established good working relationships with Sales account execs and other SME’s: has or could earn their trust and respect.
- Good communications skills: presentations to clients, financial reports, written reports.
- Technical competence: understands the basic technology of the IPS portfolio: how it works, and how it is applied/used by clients to deliver business value
- Proven track-record in solution or portfolio selling and marketing of business value propositions
- Is adept at proposing cross-portfolio solutions to industry problems, and expressing a business value proposition to the client.
- Exhibited proven independence/independent worker
- Proven teaming abilities – is a team player.
- Willing to travel across the region to support pertinent sales pursuits.
- Occasional outside Region as well.
- Proven ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously
- Exhibits good in-Region IPS organizational savvyness to make sure “things get doneâ€.
- Good marketing skills
